My goal is to bridge the communication gap between scientists and their audiences by creating visual media that is both aesthetically compelling and scientifically valuable.
I overlayed field drawing onto images to help visitors to Nerstrand Park in MN identify spring ephemerals. Each image has a corresponding information card. The images and cards will be displayed at the visitors center next spring.

I created three products for three different audiences around the same scientific paper. The first is a visual abstract meant to accompany the paper, the second is an article for a general audience, and the third is for a kids magazine.
